Schedule A Service Appointment Online At Martin Chevrolet
Before You Schedule Your Service Appointment
We want your visit to go smoothly and without surprises, so a quick note on how service appointments work:
Your appointment time is reserved for meeting with a Service Advisor, not for immediate technician work. Think of it like a doctor’s office — the scheduled time ensures you’re checked in promptly, your concerns are documented accurately, and your vehicle is placed in the service workflow.
What to expect after check-in:
-
A technician will be assigned to your vehicle and begin work the same day for most morning drop-offs
-
Vehicles dropped off later in the day are typically inspected within 24 hours
-
Vehicles dropped off after 11:00 AM are usually addressed the following business day
Express Services (oil changes, tire rotations, basic maintenance) are designed to be faster and are typically completed in 1–2 hours, depending on volume.
Diagnostic concerns (warning lights, drivability issues, noises, electrical concerns) require dedicated technician time and cannot be performed as a wait service. These vehicles must be dropped off to allow for a thorough and accurate diagnosis.
Our goal is to provide quality repairs done right the first time — setting clear expectations helps us do exactly that. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to taking care of your vehicle.
What to Expect When You Arrive
When you arrive for your appointment, one of our team members will greet you and help get your visit started.
Here’s how the check-in process works:
-
Your Service Advisor (or porter) will greet you and perform a brief walk-around of your vehicle
-
Vehicle information is verified and your concerns are reviewed together
-
You’ll be escorted to a workstation where your advisor will document all service requests in detail
To help us diagnose your vehicle accurately, we appreciate as much detail as possible. For example:
-
When did the concern start?
-
How often does it happen?
-
Does it occur over bumps, during braking, at certain speeds, or when turning?
-
Where does the noise or issue seem to be coming from?
Once everything is documented:
-
Your advisor will review the work order with you
-
Authorization will be obtained
-
You’ll receive a copy of the paperwork by email or in print
Clear communication at check-in helps us diagnose and repair your vehicle correctly — often saving time and preventing repeat visits.
