Martin Chevy has hands down been the best dealership I have dealt with. From Chris Acevedo the sales man to Martin Ortiz service dept. The communication from start to finish was impeccable. I couldn't recommend them enough. My transmission went out on my Traverse. And was worried the 3rd party warranty wouldn't cover it. Martin guided me through the process, and provided updates of the repair. Without me having to call. I never even heard back from my own warranty company. They even pushed to have it ready the day I needed it for my vacation. Although I couldnt pick up by the time they closed. Chris had my keys, with a smile and a Thank You! I didn't even get to see Martin in person. But best believe I will see him for all my future services. If that's not service I am not sure what is. I am so blessed.

Not satisfied with your dealer service any further. I used to always get a wheel rotation and check the levels with my service same price. Now, no rotation and no top of the fluids. Then you wanna charge 390 filters that cost maybe $50 dollars. There are plenty of people who can do the work in other places that appreciate the business and follow through on the details. There is no reason to continue to give Martin Chevrolet my business.

The warranty repair is working fine. That is the positive part. The negative part was the repair took more than a day. The dealership provided a complementary car rental which was great but they made me come back at the end of the day rather than providing it when I dropped my car off. They must have left the car outside over night under sprinklers because when I dropped it off it was pristine but when I picked it up it had water spots all over and was dirty. My service representative never called me to update progress as promise and it took hours for me to get a hold of him.

I purchased a used 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV from CarMax, it only came with 1 key fob, and they were unable to answer most of my questions regarding the vehicle’s existing manufacturer’s warranty. Alex in Parts explained the costs involved with obtaining a second key fob and scheduled an appointment for the key cutter to meet me that same morning. Refugio assisted me with the service request for the key, answered ALL of my questions regarding the manufacturer’s warranty, advised my how to proceed if/when my extended factory warranty is needed for a repair, updated my vehicle’s details and verified my contact information so I receive recall notifications/service visit reminders/etc., and was very helpful and informative. I appreciate and commend the stellar professionalism and exceptional customer service provided by both of these gentleman. “Great job guys and thank you!”

The experience went well. Overall the customer service representatives were helpful, responsive and attentive. They secured us another vehicle from a 'sister' dealership and delivered it in a timely manner. Both of the men who were facilitating the purchase were new and one commented it was his first sell. I appreciated his enthusiasm and personality, especially when negotiating a sell. They both worked diligently, focused and driven to provide a great experience. One mentioning- the car was washed and filled up for us, but a numerous bird dropping were unable to be cleaned off entirely. You could see the 'staining' on the front-side paneling. I felt that a brand new car should look its best that it will ever look, so I was disappointed to see that the person in charge of washing the car did not pay better attention to this detail. It might sound like a minor issue- but again this is a brand new car and the expectation upon purchase is it is in perfect condition- including paint.

no fault of the service rep but replacing a camera on the passenger mirror took 3 trips. notified to dealer at purchase of vehicle that camera was out and camera was to be ordered. no call until we called service to see if part was in. we brought the car in. sat there the whole day to be told mirror had to be painted. returned for install first thing in the morning, waited 4 hours and then was told it needed a module. rental car provided. week later car was ready. i know its a new ev but would be great if the systems were in place to ensure all parts needed prior to us wasting 20 mile trips and days away from work...

I had two situations/messages with/in my vehicle (Chevy volt 2014). 1- "The message "Service High voltage charging system)" which didn't allow me to charge my vehicle, That was solved by reprogramming the HPCM2, just like I had pointed out to the service advisor, after doing my own research. This is what was done and allowed me to charge. 2- The message "propulsion power reduced" was not resolved, because according to the technician, they were not able to duplicate the problem. However,this message popped up again within the following 48 hrs, after running the car with gasoline, which is when this message comes up. I received the car with the battery being charged, this tells me that very likely the car was charged previous to driving the car trying to duplicate the problem, since the actual driving happened at least 24 hrs after the vehicle was dropped off, and, under these circumstances (with a charged propulsion battery), the message will not come up. Other than that, the service by my service advisor was great.

He advised me that the sensor was showing a problem when we came in on Friday; BUT on Monday it showed no-problem & was no reason to replace @ this time. 2nd Item = HORN not working. He found that the relay (under-steering wheel pad) was loose (not connecting) & re-adjusted it to work for now, too be careful on use. Part was no-longer available from GMC.

This is my second time bringing my NEW car in for issues. It’s only been 9 months with the vehicle. Both times that I have had to bring my vehicle in has proven to be unhelpful and a waste of time. This time: Minimal communication/updates; car kept longer than originally told. Problems not fully addressed. Car returned with squeaky brakes (which was not a concern originally) and window issue NOT fixed (& I have captured video of both these issues for proof/reference). Unfortunately, service team presents as unprofessional, disorganized, and oblivious.

I scheduled an appointment online, got the dealer, had no record of my appt. They were nice and let me do it as a Walk-in. But I purchased a certified Pre-owned vehicle at another Chevy dealer and was supposed to get 2 free oil changes. Martin Chevy insisted that I only got one (because they are privately owned) which was used already. I just looked it up and I get two free at ANY Chevy dealer. I wouldve never brought the car to the dealer for a $120 oil change.

7:30am 8/20/2025, Brought in my 2020 Silverado 1500 for an oil change and general check up because the check engine light appeared. 4:00pm I called the dealership because I did not hear back from the service department regarding the pick up or additional issues with the vehicle. I could not reach anyone because the multiple phone numbers associated with the dealership were disconnected or not operational. I left a voice mail and received a call from the Service tech explaining the auto technician is still analyzing the vehicle and the work will not be completed until 8/21/2025. Approximately 12:noon on 8/21/2025, I called the dealership and could not access a person to speak with. Approximately 3:00pm on 8/21/2025, I attempted to call the dealership to get the status of the oil change and analysis; only to be told the dealership's telephone and computer systems were down for the entire day and the vehicle would not be ready until 8/22/2025. I called the Service Technician the morning of 8/22/2025, and he explained the vehicle needed a Fuel Pump which was $800+, in addition to $400+ to address the check engine light issue, in addition to 245+ to update the onboard computer, in addition to $85 for the original issue I came in for service which was a simple oil change. I was totally confused as to how a vehicle with only 25,000 miles and only driven on an average of 1-2 days per week would require all of the items of repair. I explained, my primary reason for the visit was the oil change only and I will pick up my vehicle ASAP. Needless to say, the oil change was provided, but the check engine light issue remained. On 8/22/2025, I took the vehicle to an independent repair shop and within minutes, the technician explained the fuel pump module was faulty and needed to be replaced. I ended up paying approximately $435 for the part and labor to install the module and address the check engine light issue. I am truly disappointed in the level of service and communication. I am also dismayed by the fact the Dealer tried to up-sale me on repairs I did not need and were not required. I have been a customer of Martin Chevrolet Service department since I purchased this vehicle in 2020, and previous to my recent visit, the customer service and communication was great, efficient and helpful. I'm done and will not return.

During the beginning phase of purchasing EV, my sales person was attentive and nice. However, once I purchased the vehicle, I didn’t fully introduction to my new EV and its functions. I felt being rushed since they were closing. The next couple of days, I text my salesman multiple times and called and left a VM for a concern/questions I had. And I never received a text or call back. One of my key fobs is not programmed to the car and is not working. I called the dealer and I was transferred to the service department. And was told that I need to schedule and appointment and leave my new car with the key fobs for over 2 hours so they can programmed it. It’s very inconvenient for me to leave my car since I live 30 mins away from the dealer. And annoying that I have to do this a day later I have purchased my car.

The "service airbag" light was illuminated on my dashboard. Agent Jose asked the resident airbag expert to find the problem. The expert traced the problem to a connector. I was worried that I would have to leave the car overnight, but thanks to Jose's quick arranging, I was in and out of the dealer in just over two hours. My next car purchase will probably be from Martin Chevrolet solely because I know I can rely on Jose to accurately diagnose any problem and then closely supervise the repair. I trust Jose to not make any repair or perform any maintenance that is not necessary.

The service I received was not up to par. My property was treated like trash. My car was filthy when it was returned and my driver seat won't move.The service person, Nelson, was very dishonest. I am not happy about the leak in my back window or roof or outside bed light on my Chevy Silverado. . It’s been reported numerous times on these trucks and it’s a recall that your service advisor told me I would have to pay over $3000 to get fixed. If I can’t get this fixed under the recall I’m going to get my lawyer to go up the ladder to get some satisfaction.

Was very happy with the problem they fixed. But on the way home I noticed my phone was not paired with my car when I tried to text wife, I was on the way home. When I got home I could not get phone to pair with car. After a half hour I had to go back to dealership to get help to reconnect to car. I think they did a software update and that reset the system, so I lost the pairing. I wish they would have made sure I was reconnected be fore I left

The tech i had was trying to get me to pay more for an oil change than need be! Then the office manager did the same. I had to tell them that their sign clearly said an oil change for my type of truck was $79.99, not &119.99. Not cool! I felt like they were just doing this because i was a woman and they didn’t think i knew my car! I have been taking my car here for years but don’t know if i will anymore.

Politeness and friendliness 5 star. At the time of checking in with the service adviser, he told about the Throttle Body Clean service what i declined, but let the rest of the service I authorized. At the time the bill come, i had to pay, an additional $200 plus added to the invoice, showing the declined service (Throttle Body Cleaning) was added to the bill. Spoke to Alvin, (nice and pleasant gentleman) he told me, his also rejected the work order, made a note of the declined service, and he doesn't know either, what happened, why they did it. I do not prefer the new scheduling system for service where there is an automated phone answering system, and then you speak to a scheduler who may or may not have any details regarding your vehicle. Each time we schedule it feels like the first time we’ve been to the dealership. When we arrive for our appointment, the drive was backed up to the street. We walked into the service area and stood there waiting for almost 10 minutes. For the first five minutes, not one person said hello, can I help you, or acknowledged us at all. Some service professionals on the phone, walking around, and their offices.

Took in from body shop with transmission issue with problem caused by them during fender bender repair - was told truck ready by Martin , vehicle was picked up and after 7 miles check engine came on. Truck towed back to Martin, was told truck was ready, picked up truck and check engine light was on when brought out from service bay. Truck went back in to service . We were told all of this was a coincidence. Loose hose was blamed on us. Miserable experience.

Very shady and unorganized first I spoke to a lady the day before she told me the diagnostic fee was 250 when I get there the person who was helping me said 275 I tried to bring that promise of 250 he said no I said ok go ahead. They didn’t even know I have an appointment. They make me wait from 837 to 405pm during the service they told me they needed to replace a part to test the car i said ok they did. But still getting the same code at this point the wait was so long so i ask what was the hold? The person finally shows up and told me they don’t know what is it “IT MIGHT BE” some pistons they need to change and it’s still not guaranteed but the cost is 4000$. So I waited for 8h just for nothing. How a supposedly technician tell you it’s MIGHT be the issue but pay $4000? I always go to Culver City Chevrolet they were busy that’s why I came to Martin but never again they are ripping people off the service is poor. They are very unprofessional

I came in due to new Colorado (less than 2k miles) losing the dashboard display and backup camera. I was greeted by Edmund "Ed" from the service department who was a pleasant and helpful service advisor. During the service which took for days, Ed kept me informed daily on the vehicle and when it was repaired. Ed even followed up after I picked up the vehicle the next day to check in on the status/repair. When I picked up the vehicle, it was Ed's day off and a kind service tech I believe Richard (he sits adjacent to Ed), was very helpful and friendly. He was very attentive and made me happy to have gone out of my way to make the trek to Martin Chevrolet in Torrance when I am based out of Culver City and have another dealer closer to choose from. I chose Martin Chevrolet since I live in Torrance and had always heard great things about this location, and both Ed & Richard were excellent examples of why making the trip to Martin Chevrolet was worth it.

There was a lack of communication from the service advisor, as most of the communication was initiated by me in order to get updates. Additionally, the lack of providing a loaner vehicle while warranty repairs are being performed is very inconvenient. The vehicle was in the shop for a week, and was delivered dirty. Almost as if it had been driven over puddles of water. The interior was also dirty from what appeared to be the same mud. An email with photos was sent to the service advisor and I did not hear back from him.

I think I already filled this out, but I’ll fill it out again was not very happy but sometimes we don’t always get what we want. It went from a battery to using two of my AAA TOWS :( then the brake modules something something and then the calipers something something then a brake flush my truck is a 2018 with 44,000 miles on it so not sure why would I need a brake fluid flush. Not sure why when I picked up my paperwork then it said recommendation for The calipers. I’ve been a longtime customer of Martin Chevrolet. I used to have another service advisor which I wish I would have remembered his name. He sits right there before you walk into Mr. Guevara’s office. I wish I would’ve stuck with the same guy.

Everyone I spoke with was polite and professional. I needed to bring my car in for a programming recall. The service took a few hours which was communicated to me upfront. My only complaint is I advised there was an alert that my washer fluid was low. My advisor said they would take care of it however I received another alert on my way home that it was still low. Simple oversight but I would have given 5 stars had it been taken care of.

Took car in for blower motor noise and coolant smell. Had an appointment at 8 , finally after contacting Edmundo several times he told me at 3, they could hear the noise. Ask at 8 am about a rental car said I had to wait until approved. Never would call me even when I requested a call would only text. Lack of communication with us, should have listened to the noise before I left the car, had to keep car over night waiting on parts, told him needed the car the next day. Said couldn’t guarantee. He gave me the type of work that needed was not important.
