I have been taking my Equinox to a local service station to get the oil changed. It had been burning oil in less than 3 months, empty oil tank and no indicator light. Robert at Martin Chevrolet explained that a special oil is needed- called Dexose. He said he would check for leaks though and offered to do my 30000 mile service. He arranged a rental for me to drive to work, at no cost to me. All in all a very positive experience.
